Estem preparant un seguit de trobades per veure els partits del Barça i fer pinya.
El primer serà el Madrid-Barça que es juga aquest diumenge a les 21h (2
22h a Catalunya) i s’ha decidit quedar al “The Globe” a les 20:30.
Esta en joc el primer títol de la temporada! la Supercopa d’Espanya! i no pot ser mes interessant que jugar-la contra el etern rival.

We are preparing a series of meetings to see Barça matches and make a great chats. The first will be against Madrid club that plays this Sunday at 21pm (2 22h in Catalonia) and has decided to stay at "The Globe" at 20:30. There are a Cup to win and it is just the first game of the season! Spanish Super Cup! and can not be more interesting than playing against the eternal enemy. See you there!

Veniu al preciós Mugdock Park (part del West Highland Way) per una barbacoa amb el casal. Cadascú porta carn i beure, el casal hi posa la resta (pa, carbó, plats, etc.)
Al parc hi ha un parc de glonxadors pels petits i un d’aventura enmig del bosc pels mitjans, un castell, un llac, un munt de rutes per fer una caminada, una cafeteria i una botiga. I la zona de barbacoa fins i tot té un cobert per si plovineja!
El més fàcil és anar-hi en cotxe, però sino també es pot anar en tren fins a Milngavie i agafar un taxi des de l’estació.

Hola Amics!
Em dic Xavier i a partir d’ara portaré la secció del Barça del Centre Català d’Escòcia, on es parlarà bàsicament de l’actualitat blaugrana. Arribem a la recta final de la temporada, on tots els títols són en joc. A més a més, per posar-hi més emoció, els títols ens els jugarem a cara o creu amb l’etern rival, el Reial Madrid.
El primer aquest dissabte a les 21:00 hora escocesa i posteriorment amb el primer títol en joc “la Copa del Rei” dimecres dia 20 a les 21:00 hores.
L’objectiu bàsic d’aquest mail és informar-vos que al bar THE GLOBE a Niddry St, es poden veure TOTS els partits del Barça i que sereu benvinguts si veniu a viure el directe amb nosaltres. Faig una crida a celebrar els títols a una plaça que es troba a Lothian St.

I’m Xavier and I’ll lead the Barça Football section in the Scotland’s Catalan Centre. Here you’ll find all the updated information about the team.
Now, we are almost at the end of the season, where all the titles are at stake. Moreover, this year, the excitement is even greater because all Barça’s games will be against our long-standing rival, Real Madrid. The first match is next Saturday at 21:00. The following one is on Wednesday 20th at 21:00 for the ‘Spanish Cup’.
The objective of this email is to inform you that we normally watch all Barça games in the pub, The Globe, in Niddry St. You are more than welcome to join us!
If Barça wins all the possible football titles (Spanish Cup, Champions, Spanish league..) we’re planning to celebrate the victories in a square in Lothian St. where there is a huge screen.
Com que el Sant Jordi enguany cau al bell mig de la Setmana Santa, nosaltres el celebrarem el cap de setmana següent per poder ser-hi tots. Heus aquí tota la informació:

ACTIVITAT: Farem titelles dels personatges de la llegenda de Sant Jordi i una representació amb les titelles. També hi haurà un intercanvi de llibres.
Ho sigui que ja ho sabeu: porteu algun llibre que volgueu intercanviar (en qualsevol idioma i per qualsevol edat) i moltes ganes de riure i passar-vos-ho be!
P.D. Es demana un preu d’entrada de £2 per adult per ajudar a pagar el lloguer del local. Els menors de 16 anys no paguen.

Sant Jordi (23rd April) is the patron saint of Catalonia and a big day for all Catalan people since it is the Day of the Book and the Rose. Click here to find out more about this popular tradition.
Since this year Sant Jordi is right bang in the middle of the Easter holiday, we are celebrating it one week later to make sure we can all be there. This is what will be happening:
TIME: 2.00-5.00 pm
PLACE: Hillhead Baptist Church, Cresswell Street, Glasgow G12 8AE (troba-ho al mapa)
DAY: Saturday, 30 d’Abril
ACTIVITIES: We’ll make puppets of the characters in the Sant Jordi legend and we will the do a show for all to enjoy. There will also be a book exchange.
So don’t miss it! Bring a couple of books you’d like to exchange (in any language and for any age group) and enjoy the afternoon!
P.S. Like for all the activities we organise, we ask for a contribution of £2per adult to help pay the hall rent. Under 16s get in for free.
